🌟💡 Who we are: ATIC – Asociația Tinerilor cu Inițiativă Civică 💡🌟

As part of the OTTY – Only Thanks To Yourself project, we are proud to introduce our partner ATIC (Asociația Tinerilor cu Inițiativă Civică), a Romanian youth NGO based in Galați and founded in 2016.

👉 ATIC is committed to youth empowerment, active citizenship, and cultural promotion at local, national, and European levels. The organization pays special attention to vulnerable young people, including those from foster care or disadvantaged families, offering them opportunities for growth, learning, and participation.

⚽️ Sport plays a central role in ATIC’s strategy: it is used as a powerful educational and preventive tool, capable of promoting healthy lifestyles and raising awareness on key challenges such as doping, not only as a health risk but also as a social and ethical issue.

Through workshops, awareness campaigns, and international projects, ATIC works side by side with schools, families, and local authorities to create safe environments where young people can thrive both as athletes and as responsible citizens.

With passion and dedication, ATIC is building a new generation of “ambassadors of prevention”, inspiring their peers to embrace sport as a pathway of wellbeing and positive change.
