From 7 to 10 April 2025, Lisbon hosted the first Big Transnational Meeting of the European project LUB – Let Us Be, co-funded by the EU under Erasmus+ Sport.
For four days, young coaches, volunteers and sports leaders from across Europe came together to learn, share and take action for gender equality in sports.
Through non-formal education, workshops and teamwork, participants explored how gender stereotypes affect access to sport, communication and leadership. They gained practical tools to design inclusive training, use gender-sensitive language and promote fair opportunities for all.
Each participant also began training as a LUB Consultant, ready to bring change to their local sports communities and help build a more equal and open culture of sport.
This meeting was just the start — the LUB network will keep growing step by step!
