We are pleased to announce the launch of LUB – Let Us Be, a European project created to challenge gender stereotypes in sports and promote fairer, more open, and inclusive sports communities.

LET US BE (LUB) provides educational, practical, and innovative tools that sports associations and youth workers can use to identify and break down social, economic, and cultural barriers that still limit equal participation. The aim is clear: to train, raise awareness, and equip sports communities to welcome every person without labels or discrimination.

The project follows a structured approach developed in four key phases:

Training LET US BE Consultants, professionals capable of identifying and addressing gender bias in sports.

Creating educational materials, including a comprehensive E-book that combines theoretical insights with practical strategies ready to be applied in sports organisations.

Local implementation, testing new approaches to foster inclusivity in community sports settings.

Replication and outreach, as trained consultants support external organisations to ensure the sustainability and long-term impact of the initiative.

Through this process, LUB strengthens the skills of sports managers, coaches, and instructors, contributing to a cultural shift that positions sport as a tool for social change and gender equality.
