Behind every great project, there is a strong alliance—and Trail for a Future (T4F) is no exception. This Erasmus+ Sport project brings together three organisations from three different corners of Europe, united by a shared mission: to promote outdoor sports as a tool for inclusion, education, sustainability, and employability.
Let’s meet the partners who are making this possible.
🇵🇹 Clube Açoriano de Trail, Triatlo e Turismo (CATTT) – Portugal
The project coordinator, CATTT, is based in the Azores Islands, one of the most remote regions of the European Union. With 20 years of experience in organising outdoor events, CATTT isdeeply rooted in the local community of Rabo de Peixe, an area facing serious social and economic challenges. By combining trailrunning, triathlon and tourism, CATTT creates opportunities for young people to reconnect with nature, rediscover their potentialand explore future career paths through sport. With a strong focus on inclusion, CATTT brings to the project its local expertise and a commitment to transformation from the ground up.
🇮🇹 YMCAROMA – Italy
YMCA Roma is one of the leading youth organisations in Italy, working to empower teenagers and young adults through sport, education and non-formal learning. With a team of over 20 youngvolunteer leaders, YMCA Roma reaches out to youth from disadvantaged urban and rural areas, offering opportunities to grow, lead and connect. Their experience in organising summercamps, educational programmes and social inclusion activities makes them a valuable partner in bringing the values of Trail for a Future into everyday life. For YMCAROMA, sport is more thanmovement—it’s a language of growth, respect and community.
🇧🇬 SPORTSROOM – Bulgaria
Founded in 2021, SPORTSROOM is a young and dynamic NGO based in Bulgaria, with branches in Sofia, Montana and Varna.
Their mission is to spark social change through sport, usinginnovative approaches and non-formal education. With experiencein organising events, workshops and training on themes like gender equality, entrepreneurship, and healthy lifestyles, SPORTSROOM adds a creative and strategic dimension to the project. Their expertise in digital tools and communicationensures that the project’s message reaches far and wide, empowering both participants and local communities.
A strong European alliance
Each partner brings something unique to the table: local roots, technical skills, educational tools, and a deep passion for sport asa driver of positive change. Together, they form a diverse yetcohesive team that reflects the very spirit of the project collaboration, inclusion, and resilience. As Trail for a Future moves forward, this partnership will be the backbone of all actions, ensuring that no one is left behind and that every trail leads to new opportunities.
