The partners of BTBC – Break the Bully Cycle have successfully completed the project’s online kick off meeting, marking an important first step in the implementation of this Erasmus+ Sport cooperation journey.

During the meeting, the partner organisations came together to officially launch the project, review its objectives and define the first operational steps. The meeting was dedicated to coordination, introduction to the project topic, division of responsibilities and preparation of the materials needed for the upcoming Transnational Meeting.

💻 The discussion focused on the importance of preventing bullying in sport environments and on the role of coaches, educators and sport organisations in creating safe and inclusive spaces for young people.

Partners also reviewed the project timeline, the expected deliverables and the main activities that will be implemented during the next months. Particular attention was given to the preparation of the BTBC training package, communication materials and practical resources that will support sport organisations in recognising, preventing and addressing bullying.

🤝 The online kick off meeting confirmed the strong commitment of all partners to work together through a participatory and collaborative approach. Each organisation will contribute with its own experience in sport, youth work, inclusion and non-formal education.

With the completion of this first meeting, BTBC officially enters its first implementation phase. The next steps will focus on preparing the contents and tools that will be used during the transnational activities and later shared with local communities.

🌍 BTBC has now started its European journey to promote safer sport environments, strengthen the educational role of coaches and help young people experience sport as a place of respect, inclusion and wellbeing.

Stay tuned for the next steps of the project! 💪
