We are pleased to present the first result of the DO project, a European Union co-funded initiative aimed at enhancing the fundamental role of sports youth workers in the personal and educational development of young people through sports.
This document represents an important milestone within the project, offering an in-depth analysis of the role of sports youth workers, the methodologies used to positively influence young athletes, and the challenges and opportunities characterizing this sector.
Sports youth workers are not just coaches or instructors; they are key figures who act as mentors, role models, and mediators between young people, families, and local communities.
